Free Promo!

Starting things off this week with a freebie from me - my take on Sergio Mendes' classic disco stomper I'll Tell You. I've loved this tune for years and I've now put my own spin on it, and I'm giving it to you for nothing! Hope you like it - just hit the button to grab your copy.

New label release

I've been busy in the studio over the last few months, and I'm excited that my new track Can't Make Up Your Mind is available for pre-order now. I dug deep for the source material for this disco-infused jackin' house number, and I'm pleased with the result. Don't forget to use the promo code FRESH20 to get 20% off everything at Traxsource!

Spotify playlist takeover

I'm still in charge of Good Custard's Spotify playlist, and I've added a few more tracks to it! So please check it out as I've included some lovely house, disco and funk grooves that I'm really feeling at the moment.

Label Focus

This week I'd like to tell you about the label recently launched by my friend Ben-Banjo Field, which donates 10% of its profits to mental health charities. It's only about 10 releases old so far but has already had fab releases from some heavy hitters in the nu-disco scene like C Da Afro, Alexny... and myself! Definitely one to watch with some exciting plans in the pipeline, and raising awareness and funds for such an excellent cause too - what's not to like? Hit up their website to find out more and check out their excellent mix series too.

Gem of the Week

This week I've picked one of those joyous little soulful disco numbers that feels quite obscure but still crops up from time to time, and can certainly still find a place in the right DJ set today - You've Got Me Hung Up by King Tutt. Originally released in 1979, this one's an absolute diamond of a track.

That's me done, and I'm off on holiday so you won't hear from me next week. So until next time... stay Funky!
